
ZooAmerica to Offer Daily Activities for Summer 2025
Animal Encounters, Enrichment Activities and More Included with Admission

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park in Hershey, Pa., today kicks off its daily summer activities. The Zoo is open daily through Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with special animal encounters, educational activities, and feeding and training sessions for guests to watch every day of the week, weather permitting.

11-11:30 a.m. - Animal Enrichment
Location: At each of the animal habitats listed below
Guests can join Zoo Educators and Naturalists alongside North American animals for a special enrichment activity or training session. Please note that animals are subject to change.
Monday – Mountain Lion
Tuesday – Great Southwest Garden Animals
Wednesday – Great Southwest Mammals
Thursday – Black Bears
Friday – Gray Wolves
Saturday – Mountain Lions
Sunday – Black Bears
2:30-3 p.m. - Tortoise Graze
Location: Between the prairie dog and pronghorn habitats
Tortoises and turtles love their time in the sunshine! Guests can visit these shelled reptiles each afternoon as they graze on the grass, bask in the sun or race each other to the nearest delicious dandelion flower. Please note that this activity is weather-dependent and subject to change.
4:30-5 p.m. - Keeper Corner
Location: Mountain lion, prairie dog and elk habitats
Zoo visitors can stop by Big Sky Country to meet the Zoo Naturalists and chat about species found on the prairie. They will learn about the individual animals and may observe the animals receiving a tasty treat. Please note that this activity is weather-dependent and subject to change.
Various Times - Animal Encounters and Exhibit Talks
Location: Varies
Guests are encouraged to stop by the Admissions desk on the date of their visit to view the daily schedule of animal encounters and exhibit talks throughout ZooAmerica. While in the Admissions building, it's a great opportunity to see the mural featuring artwork from Milton Hershey School (MHS) Students. Please note that animal encounters and exhibit talks are weather-dependent and subject to change.
The daily summer activities are included with admission to ZooAmerica this summer. Regular admission for guests ages 9-61 is $16.50 plus taxes and fees. Admission for juniors ages 3-8 and seniors ages 62+ is $14.50 plus taxes and fees. Children 2 and under are free.
Entrance to ZooAmerica is free to all ZooAmerica Annual Pass Holders and 2025 Hersheypark Season Pass Holders.
ZooAmerica admission is also included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark only by accessing the Zoo from the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours. Please note that ZooAmerica and Hersheypark hours vary. Guests interested in visiting ZooAmerica separately can purchase a daily admission ticket.
