It is officially spring in Hershey, Pa.! Now that winter has come to an end, we are celebrating with a roundup of the best ways to enjoy springtime activities across our sweet destination. From the opening of Hersheypark or a spring break resort stay to trying new spring treats and relaxing with a spa treatment, check out the top nine things to do in Hershey, PA.
1. Enjoy Spring Weekends at Hersheypark
Ready, set, Hersheypark… spring means coaster rides, King Size shakes and character meets are back! Hersheypark amusement park springs back to life on April 5 for its 119th operating year.
Hersheypark is open for seven spring weekends from April 5 through May 18 for its spring season. Hours vary by day this spring, with extended hours over Easter Weekend (April 18-20):
- Saturdays from April 5 through May 17 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Sundays from April 6 through May 18 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Easter Sunday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
- Friday, April 18 (Good Friday), and all Fridays in May from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

3. Stroll Through ZooAmerica
ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park (open daily from 10:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.) is an 11-acre zoo featuring over 200 animals native to North America. This AZA-accredited zoo offers many activities for the whole family, including Toddler Tuesdays in March or behind-the-scenes tours as a special add-on. ZooAmerica is also included with an admission ticket to Hersheypark when you enter from the park during park hours.

With the purchase of a ticket, youhave access to the outdoor grounds where you can see the first springtime blooms, such as Winter Aconites and Snowdrops. By mid-April, there will be early signs of the amazing tulip fields. You are invited to step into the indoor butterfly atrium with included admission, where it's always balmy! Hershey Gardens is open daily from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
8. Indulge in Seasonal Spa Treatments

9. Golf at Hershey Country Club
By booking an overnight stay at an Official Resort of Hersheypark, guests can schedule a tee time at the award-winning golf courses at Hershey Country Club. The practice facilities are also open to overnight guests to warm up before you tee off! The East Course is open year round, with the West Course opening in April.
