Hersheypark Halloween 2025 Entertainment Guide

Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights presented by Reese's and Kit Kat® is well underway at the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania. While many people come to this USA TODAY 10Best seasonal event for the rides and haunts, the entertainment can't be missed. Hersheypark amusement park is home to seven Halloween-themed entertainment options for families, from stunt performances to a Character stage show and even a Hershey's Trick Or Treat Trail—all included with admission. 

Hershey's Trick Or Treat Trail

There’s no sweeter place to trick-or-treat than Hersheypark! Children 12 and under are invited to wear a Halloween costume and collect candy at 14 sweet stops on the Hershey's Trick Or Treat Trail. The trail winds from Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction with four stops to Treatville at The Boardwalk At Hersheypark region with 10 candy stops, including an exclusive Shaq-A-Licious treat location. The entrance to Treatville is at The Boardwalk main entrance across from Fallout Zone and Estate of Evil. 

Treatville is open at the start of each Hersheypark Halloween operating day until 8:30 p.m., including Halloween night on Friday, Oct. 31. 

Sweet Greets with Hershey Characters

The Hershey Characters are dressed up in their Halloween finest and ready to greet guests during Sweet Greets. Hersheypark is the only amusement park where guests can snap selfies with Hershey Characters dressed in Halloween costumes. 

Sweet Greets with Hersh run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hershey's Hangout across from the HPGO building. Sweet Greets with Reese take place next to Music Box Theatre at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, 4 and 5 p.m. Don’t forget to tag us in your photos using #HersheyparkHalloween!

Shake, Rattle and Glow: Monster Ball

Guests of all ages can join the Hersheypark ghosts and ghouls for the time of their afterlives as they choose the Monster Of The Year at the third annual Shake, Rattle and Glow: Monster Ball inside Chevrolet Music Box Theatre. Hersh takes the mic and leads the creatures through a spooky pageant that includes three new musical sections. 

Shake, Rattle and Glow: Monster Ball is offered each day of Hersheypark Halloween, with three times on Fridays and four times on Saturdays and Sundays. Showtimes on Fridays are 6, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. Showtimes on Saturdays and Sundays are 4, 6, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.

Our Friends From The Sea

Guests can see California sea lions and Atlantic harbor seals during the Our Friends From The Sea show in the Aquatheatre at 2 and 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Please note there are no shows on Fridays.

Bonus: During the Ocean Encounter—Touch & Feed Program, animal lovers have the opportunity to feed and give a back rub to one of the seals or sea lions and tour off-exhibit areas to learn more about the care of these flippered friends. The Touch & Feed Program is offered on Saturdays and Sundays at 4 p.m. for an added cost.

Fingerz & Eyeballs Acrobat and Juggler Duo

Guests who want to experience Dark Nights thrills without any scares can take a walk down the Avenue Of The Afterlife, conveniently located in The Boardwalk. New this year, guests can visit the main stage in this scare-free zone to see two show-stopping acts, including jugglers and acrobats.

The Fingerz & Eyeballs Acrobat and Juggler Duo performs at 6, 7, 8 and 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 6, 7 and 8 p.m. on Sundays. 

The Nation Firebreathers led by Lady of the Dead

Back by popular demand are the firebreathers previously seen at Dark Nights in Darkstone's Hollow. This year, the firebreathers grace the main stage in the Avenue Of The Afterlife.

Slider Showcase

The viral Decayed Brigade is back at Dark Nights, faster, fiercer, and sliding with vengeance. With a bigger crew and control of the Midway of Misery, every spark, scrape, and scream marks their grim return. 

Guests can see the Decayed Brigade slide in their unmistakable, gritty style during a Slider Showcase outside of Shaq-A-Licious Laff Trakk at 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 9 p.m. on Sundays. Built for chaos, this high-impact stunt crew is sure to put on quite the spectacle. This Brigade doesn't just perform...they take over.
