There’s still time to soak up the last bit of summer in The Sweetest Place On Earth! From coaster rides to zoo visits to sweet dining experiences, there’s so much fun to be had in Hershey, Pa., this Labor Day weekend.
Here are our top 10 picks of attractions and only-in-Hershey offerings for a visit, Aug. 29 to Sept. 1, 2025.
Ride Coasters at Hersheypark

Labor Day Weekend marks the end of daily operations at Hersheypark amusement park. The largest amusement park in Pennsylvania is open on Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Monday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for guests to celebrate a sweet end to summer with coaster rides, King Size Shakes and gravity-defying thrills.
Great ticket deals are available online. The tickets include more than 70 rides and a water park, weather and maintenance permitting, plus access to an 11-acre zoo with dozens of North American animals.
Please note that Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1, is the last operating day of 2025 for The Boardwalk At Hersheypark.
Bonus: Enjoy a Picnic in Hersheypark
Monday, Sept. 1; 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Guests visiting Hersheypark can enjoy an all-you-care-to-eat buffet picnic in the Fahrenheit Catering area from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m on Monday Sept. 1. The menu includes Brisket & Cheese Tater Tot Bake, Grilled Cheese Hot Dogs, Peach BBQ Chicken, Macaroni & Cheese, Mexican Street Corn Cobette, Fresh Cut Watermelon, House Made Chips and Ice Cream Novelties.
Adult tickets are $21.20, and child tickets are $14.84. Hersheypark Season Pass Holders can purchase discounted picnic tickets in their Self-Service Account under Add-Ons. Please note that Summer Fun Card and Snack Size Season Pass Holders are not eligible for discounted picnic tickets. Meal plans are not valid for redemption at the picnic locations; a purchased ticket is required.
Sip Sweet Cocktails at Fire & Grain
Happy Hour Daily; 4-6 p.m.
Located just three miles from Hersheypark, Fire & Grain at Hershey Lodge hosts a sweet happy hour daily from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Grab your friends and enjoy $4 beers, $6 house wine, $7 signature cocktails and half-off select appetizers.
Get Up Close to Your Favorite Zoo Animals

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is open daily through Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with special animal encounters, educational activities and training observations included with admission every day of the week, weather permitting.
Animal lovers can sweeten a zoo visit by going behind the scenes during brand-new Premium Animal Feedings with river otters, black bears or gray wolves. The 30-minute encounters include the opportunity to feed the animals while learning all about their natural history and even observing unique behaviors. All participants must pre-register and pre-pay 48 hours in advance.

Hershey's Chocolate World Attraction is open daily over Labor Day weekend. Visitors can enjoy free admission to the Hershey's Chocolate Tour, which features a limited-time Pokémon Scavenger Hunt through Sept. 5. See Botanical Beauty at Hershey Gardens

It’s not a complete visit to Hershey without strolling the 23 acres of botanical beauty at Hershey Gardens, which is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Labor Day. Hershey Gardens features 13 themed gardens and an indoor tropical Butterfly Atrium, which features hundreds of butterflies from around the world.
From Friday, Aug. 29, through Sunday, Aug. 31, guests can also see fabulous works of art by members of the Hershey Area Art Association in the Milton & Catherine Hershey Conservatory. The Hershey Area Art Association Show & Sale is included in admission and is free for members.
Learn about our Founder at The Hershey Story
Open Daily; 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The Hershey Story Museum honors and preserves the life and legacy of Milton S. Hershey, the town he created and the lives he touched. While exploring the museum's exhibits, visitors can grab tickets for the interactive Chocolate Lab to try their hand at chocolate pouring and decorating, and Chocolate Tastings to experience a flight of warm drinking chocolates from around the world. Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Explore Founders Hall Visitors Center at Milton Hershey School
Open Friday, Aug. 29 and Saturday, Aug. 30; 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Milton Hershey School (MHS) Founders Hall Visitors Center is open for visitors to explore more than 110 years of MHS history. The free tour explores the story of the School's past, present and future. It is located at 801 Spartan Lane, Hershey, PA 17003, near the intersection of Meadow Ln. and East Governor Rd. (Rte. 322).
