Hello, July! There are so many sweet things to do in Hershey, Pa., this month. Keep scrolling for some of our top picks.
1. Visit Hersheypark
Open Daily, Extended Hours on Friday and Saturday
Spend the day at Pennsylvania's largest amusement park and ride more than 70 rides, cool off at an 11-acre water park or see animals native to North America at ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park. All three experiences are included in an admission ticket.
New this summer is Twizzlers Twisted Gravity, the world's tallest Screamin' Swing, and Twizz's Twisted Trivia show inside Chevrolet Music Box Theatre. Other entertainment offerings that come with a ticket include daily Hershey Character meet and greets and Our Friends From The Sea shows featuring seals and sea lions.
2. Star Spangled Buffet Picnic
July 4 & 5; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Those planning to celebrate the Fourth of July at Hersheypark can add on an all-you-care-to-eat Star Spangled buffet picnic in the Fahrenheit Catering area. The menu includes multiple salads, sides, entrees and assorted desserts.
Adult tickets are $21.20, and child tickets are $14.84. You can purchase tickets online. Hersheypark Season Pass Holders can purchase discounted picnic tickets in their Self-Service Account under Add-Ons. Summer Fun Card holders are not eligible for discounted picnic tickets.
3. Make A Splash at The Boardwalk at Hersheypark

Cool off at The Boardwalk At Hersheypark water park! Thrill-seekers can enjoy racing slides on Whitecap Racer and rocket through high-speed tunnels on Breaker’s Edge Water Coaster, while others can soak up 1,360 feet of sweet, tubular relaxation on the Intercoastal Waterway lazy river. The East Coast Waterworks attraction provides splashing fun for all ages, complete with nearly 600 interactive water toys, seven slides, two crawl tunnels and a 1,000-gallon tipping bucket.

4. Luke Bryan at Hersheypark Stadium
Saturday, July 12 at 7 p.m.
The five-time Entertainer of The Year who has played for nearly 15 million fans during his career will visit Hersheypark Stadium this summer. As a longtime supporter and advocate for young talent, Bryan’s stop in Hershey will feature up-and-coming country music artists Vincent Mason, Mae Estes and Cole Goodwin.
5. Summer Worship Nights at Hersheypark Stadium
Friday, July 18 at 7 p.m.
Join Phil Wickham and Brandon Lake for the third year of the Summer Worship Nights Tour! Live with special guest Josiah Queen, they’ll be hitting 11 cities this July and August.
6. Pantera at Hersheypark Stadium
Friday, July 25 at 7 p.m.
Pantera's Heaviest Tour Of The Summer brings together classic members, vocalist Philip H. Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown, alongside guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benante, Pantera’s latest stretch of live dates continues the celebration of the lives of late founding members, drummer Vinnie Paul and guitarist Dimebag Darrell.

Country pop icon Shania Twain announced a final series of summer 2025 tour dates across the U.S., including a stop at Hersheypark Stadium with special guest Andy Grammer.

8. Jazz On The Veranda at The Hotel Hershey
Friday, July 4 & 11; 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Unwind on the veranda at The Hotel Hershey on select Fridays this summer for live music, sweet views, cocktails and light shareables available for walk-up service. The Fourth of July event includes fireworks and a special menu.
9. Daily Activities at ZooAmerica

ZooAmerica is excited to bring guests daily activities throughout the 11-acre North American Wildlife Park. Encounter animals up close, meet with an educator and even observe a special training, feeding or enrichment activity during your visit every day of the week in July.
ZooAmerica is included with a Hersheypark ticket when accessing the Zoo from the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours. Regular admission just to ZooAmerica for guests ages 9-61 is $16.50 plus taxes and fees. Admission for juniors ages 3-8 and seniors ages 62+ is $14.50 plus taxes and fees. Children 2 and under are free.

Every Monday in July kids can explore The Children’s Garden at Hershey Gardens while discovering nature, creating crafts and enjoying entertainment. Each week brings a different theme and special guest; included in admission.

13. Visit The Hershey Story Museum

Learn about Milton Hershey the man, chocolatier and philanthropist with a visit to The Hershey Story Museum! Through original artifacts and interactive exhibits, guests will explore the rags-to-riches story of Milton Hershey, his perseverance and his incredible legacy.
While you're there, take a Chocolate Lab class and learn about the chocolate-making process from "bean to bar," then make your own chocolate treat! Summertime classes include Chocolate Beach Bar, Fireworks Bar, Planet Chocolate, S’mores Galore and Yankee Doodle Bar.
14. Music In The Gardens at Hershey Gardens
Thursday, July 17; 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Guests can bring their favorite snacks, beverages, lawn chairs and blankets to Hershey Gardens as they enjoy music among the roses in the Historic Hershey Rose Garden. Rhythmic Groove and Rose Hudson will be performing a selection of R&B as well as pop tunes.
15. Explore Founders Hall Visitors Center at Milton Hershey School

Milton Hershey School (MHS) Founders Hall Visitors Center is open for visitors to explore more than 110 years of MHS history. The free tour explores the story of the School's past, present, and future. It is located at 801 Spartan Lane, Hershey, PA 17003, near the intersection of Meadow Ln. and East Governor Rd. (Rte. 322).
