While our goal is to have all seasonally available attractions open during scheduled operating hours, weather conditions like rain, lightning, wind, snow, and certain temperatures can cause attractions to close. Hersheypark® typically remains open during inclement weather conditions and offers a variety of indoor activities, including entertainment shows, dining options, shopping, game arcades, exhibits at ZooAmerica®, as well as rides under cover while you wait for the weather to clear. Hersheypark makes every effort to reopen the rides and attractions affected by inclement weather as quickly and safely as possible. In the event the inclement weather conditions cause the majority of seasonally available major rides and attractions to close for a continuous 60 minutes on a public operating day, a Return Visit Voucher may be issued for a return visit during the current operating season. Please present your ticket stub or receipt of purchase to any Guest Services location to receive your Return Visit Voucher (note, not valid for private events). Download and check the Hersheypark Mobile App for an up-to-date listing of closed rides and ride wait times. To qualify for a Return Visit Voucher, the ticket must have been scanned and used on a day when conditions were met to issue vouchers. Unused tickets are not eligible. Please note that Return Visit Vouchers are issued in the day for the day based on our posted weather policy. We are unable to predict daily weather conditions or the impact they may have on available attractions, and therefore cannot determine in advance when these vouchers will be issued.
