A major snow storm hit The Sweetest Place On Earth on Jan. 25, 2026. Hersheypark

Hersheypark is a 121-acre amusement park centrally located within driving distance of five of the largest metropolitan areas in the Northeast. The 121-acre Hersheypark is currently closed for the off-season but kicks off its 120th season on April 3, 2026.

Built in 1939, Hersheypark Stadium is the most prominent outdoor stadium between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, hosting summer concerts and a variety of sporting events.

ZooAmerica

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is an 11-acre, walk-through zoo in Hershey, Pa., that cares for animals representing over 60 species from five regions of North America. 

Given the extremely cold temperatures, ZooAmerica will be closed through Feb. 1, 2026. The Zoo will reopen on Feb. 2 for daily winter operations from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
