Hersheypark to Host King Size Shake Week

This summer, Hersheypark amusement park celebrates the tenth birthday of the iconic King Size Shake. Originally launched in 2016 at the Simply Chocolate dessert shop, this decadent indulgence earned an international industry award during its debut season. Now, as Pennsylvania's largest amusement park prepares to serve its 100,000th shake this year, the popularity of the treat remains immense, with Hersheypark pouring 14,000 ounces of milkshakes every week.

To commemorate this historic sweetness, Hersheypark will host King Size Shake Week from June 8 through June 14, 2026. Visitors are invited to sip in celebration with three unique milkshake flavors. The Latest Shakes of the Summer

Served in an embossed plastic mug featuring the official logo, each 28-ounce King Size Shake is an ideal treat for sharing and a memorable souvenir for guests to take home. These indulgent milkshakes are extravagantly garnished with various baked goods—such as a piece of pie, a cupcake, or a slice of cake—and topped off with other treats like decorated pretzel rods for a truly unique experience with every bite and sip.

Every Hersheypark season features a selection of "core" milkshake options. While guests can typically expect to find elaborate variations of Peanut Butter and Chocolate, a third rotating flavor is introduced to align with a specific seasonal theme. To celebrate a decade of these oversized desserts, the featured third flavor for the current year is Birthday Cake.

• Chocolate Overload King Size Milkshake - $17.99
  • Chocolate shake with chocolate sprinkle rim, chocolate chip and chocolate sprinkle pretzels, whipped cream, topped with a chocolate cheesecake cupcake
• Chocolate Peanut Butter King Size Milkshake - $17.99
  • Chocolate Peanut Butter shake, peanut butter chip rim, chocolate chip and peanut butter chip pretzels, whipped cream topped with a peanut butter pie
• Birthday Cake King Size Milkshake - $17.99
  • Birthday Cake shake, rainbow sprinkle rim, rainbow sprinkle pretzels, whipped cream, topped with a birthday candle cookie and a tie-dye birthday cake slice

A limited-time Star-Spangled King Size Shake will also be available only in July as part of a larger celebration of America's 250th anniversary at Hersheypark.

Over the years, there has been a truly unique lineup of King Size Shakes. Many of the iconic Hersheypark attractions like Reese's Cupfusion, Wildcat's Revenge and Twizzlers Twisted Gravity have inspired their own dedicated milkshake creations. Although these desserts are a staple of any summertime visit to The Sweetest Place on Earth, they remain available throughout the year with seasonal variations for Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights and Hersheypark Christmas Candylane.
