Admission Plans and Discounts

How much does it cost to enter Hersheypark?
Hersheypark entertainment complex one-price admission plan entitles you to all rides (except where height restrictions apply), all live performances, and same-day visit to ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park when entered from within the Park. So many things to see and do, one day probably won't be enough! Multi-day admission plan options are available. More information on admission price and plans.

Can I leave the park and return in the same day without paying?
Yes. Guests may leave and re-enter the park as often as they wish. You will need to get their hands stamped as you exit the first time. The hand stamp is waterproof so you can go swimming and then return. Show your Parking Stub at the parking gate as well for free re-admission.

Do you accept credit cards?
YES. Credit cards may be used to purchase admission tickets, merchandise and food (in selected food buildings). We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club. Personal checks will not be accepted as payment for purchases anywhere in Hersheypark or for admission for tickets.

Does Hersheypark offer group discounts?
Groups of 20 or more save up to 40%! Call 1-800-242-4236 or visit Groups for more information.

Where can I receive discounts to Hersheypark?
Discounted Hersheypark admission can be purchased at participating Giant Food Stores in Pennsylvania, and Martin's Food stores in Maryland. To find a Giant or Martin's location, click here. In addition, discount coupons are available at numerous fast food restaurants, drug stores and gas stations throughout the summer in various locations.

I have a ticket for a concert in Hershey. Do I receive a discount on Park admission?Hersheypark offers a special discounted admission price of just $32.95 to concert go-ers when purchasing a Park ticket the day before, day of, and/or the day after the concert. Can I use my park ticket that I didn't use last year?
You must bring your regular summer season ticket (no complimentary tickets, escort tickets or tickets that are valid only on a specific date) to the Guest Services Window where you can exchange it for a current season ticket. You would be responsible for any price difference between the year purchased and current year.

Can I use my souvenir cup from previous years for discounted refills?
Refills on 2009 souvenir cups will cost .99 (plus tax) and refills on cups from previous years will cost $1.49 (plus tax.)

How many roller coasters does Hersheypark have?
If you're looking for a challenge, ride any of our 11 exhilarating roller coasters, including, Fahrenheit, our 11th roller coaster new this year!

How many water rides does Hersheypark have?
Hersheypark features 9 unique wild water attractions within the Boardwalk at Hersheypark! In addition, Coal Cracker, a water flume attraction is located in Minetown, and Tiny Timbers, designed especially for our younger guests is located in Music Box Way.

Please note: The Boardwalk at Hersheypark is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Why does Hersheypark have a queue line at the Boardwalk attractions?
At Hersheypark, your Safety and Security are our top priority! We have implemented some procedures that will help us to best operate the water attractions. Find out more.

Are Cabanas available for rental at the Boardwalk?
While Hershey Resorts Guests' have the opportunity to reserve Cabanas first, the possibility exists for non-Hershey Resorts Guests to rent a Cabana. Please call 1-800-HERSHEY to check availability. Find out more!

How many rides are available for young children?
We have over 20 fun and exciting kiddie rides. Something for the whole family! Visit Kiddie Rides to see the full list.

I have a cast on, can I still ride rides?
Yes, there are signs posted at each ride indicating the restrictions for that ride. In most cases, your own discretion is suitable for whether or not you wish to ride a certain ride. This information is also included in our Guide for Guests with Disabilities.


ENTERTAINMENT

What kind of entertainment and shows are available at Hersheypark?
Hersheypark offers a variety of shows daily throughout the park. High energy resident shows, strolling performers, life-sized Hershey's Product Characters and top-name entertainment in our Amphitheatre.. All shows are FREE with your regular paid admission to the park. All seating at all shows is on a first-come-first-serve basis. No reservations or VIP seating available. What day of the week is best to visit Hersheypark?
Historically Saturdays are our busiest days at Hersheypark. If you have flexibility in your travels plans please consider visiting us on a weekday or Sunday, when access to rides and attractions will likely be quicker.

Should I bring my bathing suit/trunks?
If you are planning to visit the Boardwalk during your visit, be sure to bring your bathing suit, as they are required for these attractions. Click here for more information on the attire policy at Hersheypark.

Does Hersheypark rent strollers?
Bring your own or rent one of our strollers. Strollers are available inside the entrance on a first-come-first-serve basis. Rental prices: Single - $11.00 plus $1.00 deposit = $12.00. Double - $16.00 plus $1.00 deposit = $17.00.

Do you rent cameras?
No, but disposable cameras are available for purchase in the gift shops.

Are there picnic tables Hersheypark?
Yes, outside the park, guests are welcome to use picnic tables provided beneath the Hersheypark Stadium when available, or the tables provided on the patio area between the historic Hersheypark Arena and Hersheypark. Guests may choose to enjoy a picnic meal along the tram spine area near our parking lots. Tabletop grills are permitted while guests are eating. No reservations are required. Tables are first-come-first-serve. Guests are not permitted to bring food into the park.

Are lockers available at Hersheypark?
Yes, Lockers are available for rent inside the park, including the Boardwalk area. Lockers vary in price and size and are rented by the day. Credit cards accepted.

They are not large enough to store big stuffed animals. The big stuffed animals can be stored at the "Barking Lot" or Tram Circle after 1 PM during the summer season only. Neither Employees, Guest Relations nor Security are permitted to hold customer items for temporary storage. Any problems with lockers will be handled through the Merchandise Office.

Can we bring our own two-way radios (walkie-talkies) into Hersheypark?
Yes. Many of our guests bring these to stay in touch. Please note the park does not rent either.

Do you have a place for nursing mothers to feed their babies at HERSHEYPARK?
Yes. The Park has a special place set aside for nursing mothers at their First Aid Station.

Is there a shuttle service to Hersheypark?
Yes. Guests who stay at our resorts may enjoy free shuttle service to Hersheypark every day it's open. Shuttles run approximately every 1/2 hour depending on traffic.

Can we bring our pets to Hersheypark?
For the safety of guests and pets alike, pets are not permitted within Hersheypark. During our summer season, mid-May through mid-September, pets can stay at our "Barking Lot" located under the West Stand of Hersheypark Stadium near the entrance to the park. Reservations are not required. The Barking Lot is closed mid-September through mid-May. What happens in the Park if it rains?
It takes a lot more than rain to dampen the fun spirit at Hersheypark. However, for reasons of safety and guest comfort, some rides and shows may be closed during rain or electrical storms. These conditions usually last only a short time. While it is raining, guests may visit one of our many shops and restaurants or you can escape the rain at ZooAmerica's indoor exhibits.
